How ordering works
How Long Does Stitching Take? What Affects the Timing
Quick answer
Your written quote states the production time and the shipping cost for your order before you commit. Timing depends on the design, the number of pieces, whether you’re sending fabric, and the time of year. We don’t promise delivery dates in advance, so if you need an outfit for a particular day, put the date on your quote request.
What affects timing
- The design: a simple straight kameez with a round neck is quicker than a panelled kalidar with lace and a lined dupatta.
- How many pieces and outfits: a family order takes longer than one suit.
- Stitching Only: your fabric has to reach us first, which is a separate step before stitching starts.
- Agreeing the details: the sooner measurements and design are approved, the sooner cutting can start.
- Delivery: the shipping stage depends on where you live and is set out in your quote.
- Time of year: see below.
Busy seasons
Tailors across Pakistan get very busy before Eid, and news reports describe tailors closing bookings well before Eid ul-Fitr (Dawn, March 2026). Wedding season in the cooler months is busy too. If you’re ordering for Eid or an event, start early; our Eid planning guide walks through it.
Planning backwards from a date
Work back from the day you need the outfit: delivery, then stitching, then (for Stitching Only) sending your fabric, then agreeing measurements and design. Put your date on the quote form; your written quote will tell you whether it can be met before you commit.
Common questions
Can you guarantee my outfit arrives before Eid?
We don’t guarantee delivery dates. Tell us your date when you ask for a quote and the quote will say whether it can be made in time.
Does sending my own fabric add time?
Yes. With Stitching Only your fabric travels to us first, which is a separate stage. With Fabric + Stitching there is nothing to send.
