Abayas made for you

Most of our Gulf enquiries are for abayas. A custom abaya is cut to your length with the shoes you wear, your shoulder and bust, and the sleeve shape you choose, open or closed, plain or embroidered. You can start from a reference photo, or from one of the 100 designs in our abaya collection, which come with a matching scarf in nida, crepe or chiffon.

Embroidery can be hand, machine or a mix, and we also offer zari, beadwork and sequins. What works depends on the fabric, the design and where it sits on the abaya, so we confirm it in your quote rather than promising a copy of a photo.

Suits, frocks and embroidery on your own pieces

Alongside abayas we make custom shalwar kameez and embroidered suits, frocks, and shirts, shalwar and trousers on their own. If you already have fabric or a garment you love, custom embroidery can be added once we have confirmed it is suitable, and you send it to us in Pakistan.

Import charges in the Gulf, included in your quote

Each Gulf country treats incoming parcels differently. The UAE imposes a 5 per cent customs duty on goods imported from abroad and applies 5 per cent VAT to imports, and Dubai Customs raised its e-commerce duty exemption to AED 1,000 of CIF value in 2026. In Saudi Arabia, online purchases under SAR 1,000 in total are exempt from customs duty, while VAT is collected on imported shipments whatever their value. Qatar exempts parcels worth up to QAR 1,000 from customs duties and has not applied VAT. Bahrain lists total taxes on imports of 15 per cent, made up of customs duty and VAT, with lower-value personal parcels treated differently.

You do not need to work any of this out yourself. Shipping is calculated for your parcel and destination, and the written quote includes delivery and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees, so nothing more is due when the parcel arrives.
