Two-piece or three-piece, and what you can change
A three-piece suit is a kameez, a shalwar or trousers, and a dupatta. A two-piece suit is the kameez with a shalwar or trousers and no dupatta. If you only need one of the pieces, see shirts, shalwar and trousers.
Each of these is chosen with you and written into the quote:
- Neckline: round, V, band collar, square, boat or sweetheart, with or without a slit. See necklines.
- Sleeves: sleeveless, short, elbow, three-quarter, full or bell. See sleeve styles.
- Kameez length: from just below the hip to mid-calf.
- Cut and fit: straight, A-line, kalidar or angrakha, close to the body or relaxed. See kameez cuts.
- Trousers: a shalwar, straight trousers, cigarette pants, palazzo, sharara, gharara or churidar. See trouser styles.
- Lining: a full or part lining for the kameez, and lined trousers if the fabric is light.
- Embroidery: where it goes and how much there is, from a plain suit to bolder work for Eid.
Measurements we need
Send body measurements, taken around you, or garment measurements, taken from a kameez and trousers you already own that fit well. Both are accepted. Label each set so we know which it is, and do not mix the two.
Our size guide shows where to measure, and body vs garment measurements explains why the numbers differ. If you are unsure, ask for help with measuring on the quote form.
- Kameez: bust, waist, hip, shoulder, sleeve length, armhole, and the kameez length you want.
- Shalwar or trousers: waist, hip, thigh, length from waist to ankle, and ankle opening.
- Dupatta: nothing to measure. Its size is confirmed in your quote.
Fabric and construction
The fabric decides how a suit hangs and how much work it can carry. Lawn and cambric are light and easy in summer, khaddar, karandi and marina are warmer, and velvet suits winter occasions. With Fabric + Stitching we propose fabric and share photos and descriptions with your quote.
Sheer or very light fabric usually needs a lined kameez. A kalidar cut, full sleeves or a wide shalwar take more fabric, so with Stitching Only we check there is enough in your suit before you post it. On printed and embroidered unstitched suits, we plan the seams around the borders and panels.
Embroidery on the kameez, shalwar and dupatta
We offer hand embroidery, machine embroidery, zari, beadwork and sequins. Which of them suits your suit depends on the fabric, how the garment is made, how dense the design is and where it sits, and we confirm it in your written quote.
Popular placements are the neckline and front panel, the sleeves and cuffs, the daman, the shalwar or trouser hems, and the dupatta border. Embroidery on the shalwar is usually kept to the lower leg, where it shows and does not rub. We make suits for Eid, dinners and gatherings, never bridal wear. More on our embroidery page.
How pricing works
Every suit is quoted individually, because the price depends on the pieces, the fabric, the cut, the lining and the amount of embroidery. There is no price list for custom suits.
Your written quote gives one total that already includes delivery to your address and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees. You pay in full in advance, by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link, once you have approved it. Payment and cancellations explains what happens if you change your mind.
Making time and delivery
We make your suit in 5 to 7 working days from approval and full payment. With Stitching Only, the days start when your fabric reaches us. Courier transit time is extra and depends on the destination, and we cannot promise a delivery date.
Delivery is calculated for your parcel and destination and shown in your quote, with import charges included, so nothing is due when the suit arrives. Everything is made in Pakistan; we have no shops or fittings abroad.
From a photo
Send a picture of a suit you love, from a brand, a friend or social media. We use it as the starting point, tell you if a detail will not work in your fabric or size, and write the agreed design into your quote. The finished suit follows that agreed fabric, construction, measurements and design, so it shares the style of the photo without being an exact replica. Send your design.
