Custom Stitching and Made-to-Measure Clothing
We make custom women’s clothing to your measurements: shalwar kameez, kurtas, co-ords, Eid outfits and Western pieces, cut and stitched in Pakistan and shipped to you in the UK, the USA or Europe. Choose Fabric + Stitching, where we supply the agreed fabric and make the outfit, or Stitching Only, where you supply suitable fabric and we cut, stitch and finish it. The minimum order is one suit.

Stitching Only
You supply suitable fabric or an unstitched suit. Once we have confirmed it, you send it to us in Pakistan, and we cut, stitch and finish your outfit and ship it to you.

Tell us your country, the garment, the quantity and whether you want Fabric + Stitching or Stitching Only, and upload design images. Your written quote confirms the price and production time, and includes delivery and any import duties and taxes.

Agree the measurements and design
Enter your measurements on the quote form in centimetres or inches. The design details and measurements are agreed with you in writing before anything is cut.

Made in Pakistan
Your outfit is cut, stitched and finished in Pakistan. For Stitching Only, your fabric reaches us first, sent once we have confirmed it.

Shipped to you
The finished outfit is shipped to you in the UK, the USA or Europe. Your quote includes delivery and any import duties and taxes, so there is nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives.

Custom stitching questions
What is custom stitching?
Custom stitching means your outfit is cut and stitched to your own measurements and the design you agree with us, rather than bought in a standard size. The Gilded Seam makes women’s clothing this way in Pakistan and ships it to customers in the UK, the USA and Europe.
What is the difference between Fabric + Stitching and Stitching Only?
With Fabric + Stitching we supply the agreed fabric and make the outfit; with Stitching Only you supply suitable fabric and we cut, stitch and finish it. Fabric + Stitching reaches you in one parcel from Pakistan. Stitching Only has two shipping stages: you send your fabric to us in Pakistan, then we ship the finished outfit to you.
Can I order just one suit?
Yes. Our minimum order is one suit, made according to your agreed measurements and design. If you want several outfits, list them on one quote request and we quote them together.
Do you offer free samples?
No. We do not offer free samples. With Fabric + Stitching, we share photos and descriptions of the fabric with your quote, and the fabric is agreed with you before anything is cut.
What can you make?
We make women’s clothing: three-piece and two-piece shalwar kameez, kurtas and kameez, co-ords, Eid outfits, casual party wear and Western pieces such as dresses, skirts, tops and trousers. We do not make bridal wear, menswear or childrenswear.
How do I give you my measurements?
You enter them on the quote form, in centimetres or inches. Our size guide shows where to measure, and your measurements and design details are agreed with you in writing before cutting.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
Every order is quoted individually, and your written quote confirms the price and the production time. The quote includes delivery to your address and any import duties, taxes and customs fees, so there is nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives; with Stitching Only, sending your fabric to us is yours to arrange unless your quote says otherwise. UK quotes are in pounds sterling (GBP); in the USA and Europe you choose US dollars, euros or pounds, and the quote is written in that currency.
