How to order team hoodies: a step-by-step guide
How to order personalised team or work hoodies for women: collecting sizes and names, preparing your logo, checking details and setting a realistic date.
InspirationBefore you start
Ordering hoodies for a team, a club or your staff is mostly about organisation. The stitching is the easy part. The time goes on chasing sizes, checking spellings and agreeing a design that everyone is happy with. A little planning at the start saves a lot of back and forth later.
One thing to know first: we make women’s clothing only. If your team is mixed, we can make the women’s hoodies, and the rest will need another supplier. Our personalised work hoodies page covers what we offer for teams and businesses.
Step 1: agree the design
Settle on the hoodie colour, the logo or crest, and where it goes before you ask anyone for sizes. Common choices are a logo on the left chest with the team name across the back, or a small logo on a sleeve.
Decide whether each hoodie also carries a personal name, initials or a number. It adds a lot to the feel of a team hoodie, but it also means one more detail to collect from every person.
Step 2: prepare the logo
Send the clearest version of your logo you have, ideally the original artwork from whoever designed it. A blurry screenshot makes it harder to see the detail. Very fine lines and tiny text often need simplifying so they stitch well on knit fabric, and we suggest any changes before you pay.
We only embroider logos you own or are licensed to use. A club crest or a business logo is fine; a famous brand’s logo is not.
Step 3: collect sizes and names in one list
Use a single spreadsheet with one row per person. Include:
- Name as it should be stitched, with the exact spelling.
- Size, or measurements for anyone who needs a closer fit. Our size guide shows how to measure.
- Lettering: name, initials or number, if each hoodie is personal.
- Notes, such as longer sleeves or extra length.
Step 4: get one written quote
Send the design, the logo and the list together. For team and work orders we quote case by case, because any minimum, the price and the timing depend on the design, the embroidery and the number of hoodies. Your quote sets all of that out, with delivery included, before you pay.
Ordering several pieces also changes the delivery cost, so ask about the rate for your order. Our guide to ordering several outfits at once explains how a combined order works.
Step 5: check every detail and set a date
Before you approve, check the list against the quote line by line. Spelling mistakes in names are the most common problem with team orders, and they are easy to catch at this stage.
If the hoodies are for a launch, a tournament or an event, tell us the date when you first get in touch. The timing for team orders is set in your quote, and courier time to your address is added on top, so leave some room. We deliver to the UK and worldwide. Brands planning a full collection rather than a team order can look at manufacturing for brands.
Step 6: check the hoodies when they arrive
When the parcel arrives, open it before handing anything out and check each hoodie against your list: the name, the size and the placement of the logo. It is much easier to sort out a problem with one hoodie before the whole team is wearing them.
If something does not match what was agreed in your quote, tell us straight away with a photo. Our terms explain how faults are put right. When you are ready to start, send your design and list and we reply with one written quote.
Common questions
How many hoodies do I need to order for a team?
We do not publish a fixed minimum. It depends on the design and the embroidery, so tell us how many you need and we confirm what is workable in your quote.
Can everyone have a different name?
Yes. Send one list with each person’s name or initials, spelling and size, and we check it with you before we start.
Can late joiners be added after we order?
Ask us before you approve the quote. Adding pieces after work has started is quoted separately, so it is easier to collect every size and name first.
