Hand or machine: which suits a hoodie
Machine embroidery gives crisp, even letters and suits names, initials and repeated motifs. Hand embroidery has a softer, slightly irregular look that suits a single word or a small drawing.
We also do zari, beadwork and sequins, but on a hoodie you wash often we usually suggest thread, which stays comfortable to wear. We confirm the method in your quote.
Why knit fabric changes the design
Hoodie fabric is a knit, so it stretches in a way a woven suit does not. Very fine lettering or a dense design can pull or pucker as the fabric moves.
We keep letters to a size that stays readable and keep the design clear of seams and pocket edges. If a design will not sit well, we tell you before you pay and suggest a version that will.
Where the embroidery can go
Tell us where you want it, and we confirm the size in writing:
- Chest: a name or initials on the left or in the centre.
- Sleeve or cuff: small initials or a date.
- Hood: a word on the side of the hood.
- Back of the neck: a short word or a tiny motif.
- Across the back: a larger name or word, sized to the hoodie.
Embroidered or printed?
We embroider only. Embroidery is stitched into the fabric, so there is no printed layer to crack or peel, and it has a raised, textured look.
A photo or a full-colour picture on a hoodie needs printing, which we do not offer. For lettering and simple motifs, embroidery is the method we use. Our personalised hoodies page covers styles, sizes and prices.

Do you do hand embroidery on hoodies?

How big can the lettering be?
Anything from small initials on a cuff to a name across the back. We size the lettering to the hoodie and the spot you choose, so it stays readable when the fabric stretches.
How should I wash an embroidered hoodie?
Turn it inside out, wash it cool and dry it flat or on a low heat. This keeps the stitching neat and stops it catching on other clothes.
Can you embroider a logo on a hoodie?

Do you deliver embroidered hoodies to the UK?
Yes. We make and embroider in Pakistan and deliver to UK addresses by courier. Delivery is £30 per item, and your quote includes any import charges.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, before cutting. Anything can change before you approve your quote, and small changes before cutting are usually straightforward. If you cancel after paying, tell us straight away. Before your fabric is cut, we refund what you paid, minus the cost of any fabric we have already bought for your order. With Stitching Only the fabric is yours, so nothing is taken off for it. Once cutting has started, the piece is being made for you alone, so cancelling at that stage is not refunded. Because every piece is made to order, a change of mind is not eligible for a return or refund.
What if something isn’t right?
If your outfit doesn’t match the measurements or design agreed in your quote, that’s our mistake to put right: we correct it or remake it without charging for the work. Tell us within 7 days of your parcel arriving, with photos. You pay the postage to send it back to us and for the corrected piece to come back to you. Because every piece is made to the measurements and design agreed in writing, please check those carefully before you approve your quote.
