5 to 7 working days: how the making time is counted

How our 5 to 7 working days of making time are counted: when the clock starts, what a working day is, what sits outside it, and how to plan back from your date.

What the 5 to 7 working days cover

If you are wondering how long made to measure takes with us, the making itself takes 5 to 7 working days. That is production time only: cutting, stitching, finishing and checking your outfit in Pakistan. It is not delivery time. The count starts when your quote is approved and paid in full, and on Stitching Only it also waits until your fabric has reached us. Shipping to you comes afterwards and varies by destination. Knowing exactly where the count begins and ends is what lets you plan honestly around a date.

When the count starts

The working days begin only when every condition for your order is in place. Until then, nothing is cut.

  • The quote is approved: you have confirmed the design, measurements, fabric and total in writing.
  • Payment is complete: the full amount has come through by bank transfer, Wise or the card payment link. A transfer started late on a Friday may not arrive until the next week, so allow for that.
  • On Stitching Only, the fabric is here: the clock waits for your parcel to reach us in Pakistan. Its journey, and any time it spends in customs on the way, is not part of the 5 to 7 working days.

What counts as a working day

Working days are not calendar days. Days when no work is done, such as weekends and public holidays, are not counted, so 5 to 7 working days usually spans more than a calendar week. If your order would run across a holiday period in Pakistan, such as Eid, ask us how that affects your timing before you approve the quote.

The range exists because outfits differ. A simple kurta and a lined three-piece with detailed embroidery do not take the same effort, and your quote states the processing time for your order.

Two worked examples

Fabric + Stitching: you approve your quote on a Monday and your payment arrives on the Tuesday. The count begins from the Tuesday, and your outfit is made within the following 5 to 7 working days. Then it is packed and shipped, and the shipping time to your country comes on top.

Stitching Only: you approve and pay on a Monday, then post your unstitched suit, which you arrange yourself unless your quote says otherwise. Whatever the parcel’s journey takes, the count only starts when it reaches us. From then, it is 5 to 7 working days of making, followed by shipping to you. This is why Stitching Only needs more time in your plan than Fabric + Stitching: there are two journeys, not one.

What sits outside the making time

Several steps happen before or after the working days and are worth adding to your plan.

  • Agreeing the design: questions about fabric, lining or measurements can take a few messages.
  • Your payment arriving: international transfers are not always instant.
  • Your fabric’s journey to us, on Stitching Only.
  • Shipping to you, which varies by destination. Delivery dates cannot be promised, and parcels can occasionally be held at customs, even though any import duties and taxes are already paid through your quote.

Planning back from your date

Start from the day you need the outfit and work backwards: shipping time to you, then the 5 to 7 working days, then your fabric’s journey if you are sending it, then a few days for the quote. Add slack for anything that matters. Give your date on the quote form and say whether it is fixed or flexible, so we can tell you honestly whether it is realistic. We do not take rush orders, so starting early is the only way to buy time.

Common questions

Does the 5 to 7 working days include delivery?

No. It is production time only. Shipping to you comes afterwards, and its length depends on where you live.

When does the making time start on Stitching Only?

Once your quote is approved and paid in full and your fabric has reached us in Pakistan. The time your fabric spends travelling is not part of the count.

Can you make my outfit faster for an urgent date?

We do not take rush orders. If your date is close, tell us when you ask for a quote and we will say honestly whether it is realistic; a simpler design is sometimes an option.
