Custom design: Send Your Design

Use this when the design is yours: a reference photo, a screenshot, a sketch or written requirements. You can design your own shalwar kameez, a co-ord, a Western dress or an abaya, and we confirm in the quote what is possible with the fabric and your measurements. Customising one of our designs

Use this when you like one of our designs but want it changed. The changes you can ask for are the ones on the quote form:

• Pieces: adding a dupatta or a waistcoat.
• Neckline and sleeves: choose from the styles on the form, or ask us to advise.
• Kameez length and trouser style: from hip length to floor length, and from shalwar to wide-leg.
• Lining and embroidery level: lined or unlined, and none, delicate, detailed or statement work.
• Fabric route: Fabric + Stitching, or Stitching Only with your own fabric.

Fabric + Stitching and Stitching Only

These are the two ways any outfit gets made. With Fabric + Stitching we supply the agreed fabric; fabric is never sold on its own. With Stitching Only you supply suitable fabric, confirmed with us before you post it to Pakistan. Our guide to Fabric + Stitching vs Stitching Only compares them in detail.

Fancy work on an outfit we stitch

Fancy work is embellishment added to an outfit we are making: embroidery, lace and borders, at three levels. Delicate covers the neckline or sleeves, detailed covers the neckline, sleeves and hem, and statement means bolder work for Eid and parties. What is possible depends on the fabric and design, and it is confirmed in your written quote. If you have a particular technique in mind, name it and attach a photo, and we tell you honestly whether it can be done. Embroidery on your own fabric or garment

This is the one service that is not part of an outfit we stitch. You send fabric or a garment you already own, and we embroider it. As with Stitching Only, there are two shipping stages, and you send nothing until we have confirmed that the piece is suitable. It is quoted individually, and specific techniques are confirmed in the quote rather than promised in advance. Choose embroidery on the quote form and add photos of the piece and the design you want.

Combining services

Most orders use more than one. Some common combinations:

• Your design, your fabric: Send Your Design with Stitching Only, for an unstitched suit made up your way.
• Our design, changed, in our fabric: customisation with Fabric + Stitching. Start with customise a design.
• Your design with embellishment: Send Your Design plus fancy work at the level you choose.
• An abaya: made to measure through Fabric + Stitching or Stitching Only. Describe the style you have in mind, with a photo, and we confirm what is possible in the written quote.
