Salalah, in the far south of Oman, is unlike the rest of the country. Coconut palms and banana groves line the roads, and from about June to September the khareef rolls in from the Arabian Sea, wrapping the Dhofar hills in mist and drizzle and turning them green. Visitors arrive from across the Gulf, and the season brings family gatherings. We make your outfits for it to your measurements in Pakistan and courier them to Salalah.

What to wear in the khareef
Damp, cooler air changes what is comfortable. Lighter cotton such as cambric dries quickly after a drizzly drive into the hills, and a dupatta you can wrap around your shoulders is genuinely useful when the mist comes down. Full sleeves help too. Avoid very fine, sheer fabric that clings when damp, or ask for a lining.
Outside the khareef, Salalah is warm and humid, much like the rest of the coast, so lawn works for the rest of the year.
Hosting during the season
If relatives are visiting for the khareef, you may want a few new outfits ready. Put them all on one request, and if the fabric is yours, send us photos well ahead so there is time to confirm it and for it to reach Pakistan. Our Stitching Only page for Oman covers sending fabric from Oman.
Making takes 5 to 7 working days once your quote is paid, plus courier time to Salalah, so order early in the spring.

Is Salalah too far for delivery?
No. The outfit is couriered to your address in Salalah, and the delivery is already costed in your written quote, together with any import charges.
Which currency will my quote be in?
For Oman, we agree the currency with you when you enquire, and it is written on your quote. Payment is in full, in advance, by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link.
