From Singapore

Stitching Only for Singapore

You supply an unstitched suit or fabric, and we cut, stitch and finish it to your measurements.

Sizes, delivery and sending fabric from Singapore: ordering from Singapore.

Fabric bought in Singapore

Shops on Serangoon Road sell sets of dress material and saree lengths, and the textile shops around Arab Street often sell cloth by the metre. Both can be stitched, but a length cut from a roll may not match the quantity a three-piece needs, and saree fabric is long and narrow rather than cut into kameez, trouser and dupatta pieces. Measure each piece carefully and include the width; our article on how much fabric a three-piece suit needs gives a guide.

Lawn packs brought back from Pakistan are simpler, since the pieces are already labelled.

Sending your fabric from Singapore

Send us photos first. Once we have confirmed that the fabric suits your design, that there is enough, and how to send it, you book the courier from Singapore yourself. Pack the fabric dry in a sealed bag, write an honest description on the customs form, such as unstitched cotton fabric, and keep the tracking number until we confirm it has arrived.

We start the 5 to 7 working days of making once your fabric is with us and your quote is paid. The finished outfit travels back as a separate shipment, with delivery and any import charges already included. The Stitching Only page explains the general steps.

How it works

Stitching Only step by step

  1. 01

    Photograph your fabric

Send daylight photos of every piece, with the lengths if you know them, and tell us the design you want.

  2. 02

We confirm it before you post

We check the fabric is suitable and enough for your design, and agree how to send it to Pakistan, before anything goes in the post.

  3. 03

You send it, we make it

Once your fabric reaches us and your quote is paid in full, we cut and stitch it in 5 to 7 working days.

  4. 04

    Your outfit comes back

The finished outfit is shipped to you as a second, separate delivery, with delivery and any import charges already in your quote.

FAQ

Stitching Only questions

Who pays for sending my fabric to Pakistan?

You arrange and pay for that first shipment yourself, unless your quote says otherwise. The return delivery of the finished outfit is included in your quote.

Can you stitch a saree length into a kameez?

Sometimes. It depends on the length, the width and any border. Send photos and measurements and we tell you before you post it whether your design will fit.
