InspirationQuick answers
Ordering from Singapore
The questions customers ask before their first order, answered for your country.
What can I order?
Made-to-measure women’s clothing: shalwar kameez in two or three pieces, kurtas and kameez, co-ords, outfits for Hari Raya Puasa and Deepavali, casual party wear, and Western pieces including dresses, skirts, tops and trousers. Start from your own design or photo, or from one of our designs with your changes.
Can I order just one suit?
Yes. A minimum order is one suit, and a single kurta or dress is welcome too. There are no free samples; the fabric is shown to you in photos and descriptions with your quote, and the first parcel you receive is the outfit itself.
Can you provide the fabric?
Yes, as part of Fabric + Stitching: we choose fabric for your design in Pakistan, show it to you in photos with the quote, and make the outfit from it once you agree. Fabric is not sold on its own.
Can I send my own fabric?
Yes, when it is suitable for the design and there is enough. Photograph each piece and send the photos before you post anything; we confirm the fabric, the quantity and the sending arrangements, then you courier it from Singapore to Pakistan and the finished outfit comes back in a separate shipment.
How do I submit my measurements?
On the quote form, in centimetres or inches, but not a mix of both. Our size guide explains each measurement, and asking someone at home to hold the tape makes the back and shoulder figures more accurate.
How are the design and fit agreed?
Everything is settled in writing before we cut: neckline, sleeves, kameez and trouser lengths, lining, embroidery and your measurements. Your written quote repeats each detail, so you can check it before you pay.
Where is the clothing made?
In Pakistan, where every outfit is cut, stitched, finished and checked before it is shipped to Singapore. We do not have a shop, studio or tailor in Singapore.
How long does it take, and what does shipping cost?
We take 5 to 7 working days to make your outfit once the quote is approved and paid in full; with Stitching Only the count starts when your fabric arrives. The shipping time to Singapore is extra and varies, and the shipping cost is part of your written quote.
Who handles import charges?
We do. The written quote includes delivery to your Singapore address and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees, so nothing is due when the parcel reaches you. If a courier ever asks you to pay, check with us first.
How do I request a quote?
Fill in the Request a Custom Quote form from this page with Singapore selected, add your design or pick one of ours, and choose our fabric or yours. The currency of your quote is agreed with you when you enquire. Payment is in full and in advance, by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link.

Fabric, delivery and sizes in Singapore
Little India, Arab Street and the suit you already own
Serangoon Road in Little India and Arab Street in Kampong Glam are where many people in Singapore go for dress material, saree fabric and printed cottons. If you have bought a length there, or brought an unstitched suit back from Pakistan, our Stitching Only service for Singapore turns it into a finished outfit.
Fabric bought by the metre is not always cut to suit lengths, so measure what you have and send photos with the numbers. We confirm whether there is enough for the design before you post anything. Our guide to buying fabric by the metre for a kameez explains what to look for.
Dressing for the CBD and cold air conditioning
Offices around Raffles Place, Tanjong Pagar and the Marina Bay towers tend to run their air conditioning hard, while the walk from the MRT can leave you damp in minutes. A cambric kurta with three-quarter or full sleeves and slim cigarette trousers keeps you covered indoors and still breathes outside. Browse our designs for a starting point, and our page on customising our designs explains which changes are possible.
Afternoon thunderstorms are part of the routine, especially in the monsoon months, so many customers prefer prints that hide rain spots and lengths that clear wet pavements.
Festive dates in Singapore
Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji and Deepavali are all public holidays in Singapore, and each brings visiting and family meals. For these days, a lined kameez with delicate or detailed embroidery looks festive without being too warm. Tell us your date when you enquire: making takes 5 to 7 working days after payment, and shipping comes on top.
Delivery and addresses in Singapore
The parcel comes from Pakistan to your door, and the delivery and any import charges are already in your quote. For an HDB or condominium flat, give the block number, street, unit number (for example #08-123) and six-digit postal code, plus a mobile number you answer. For the first enquiry, just tell us you are in Singapore; the full address is collected when the order goes ahead.
Want something entirely your own? Our custom design page for Singapore explains how to send a sketch or a screenshot, and Fabric + Stitching covers the fabric we can supply.

FAQ
More questions from Singapore
Measuring guide: how to measure. The whole process: how ordering works.
Can I try the outfit on somewhere in Singapore before it is finished?
No. There is no shop, studio or tailor of ours in Singapore, and nothing is tried on before it is made. Fit comes from the measurements you send, which we check and agree with you in writing before cutting.
What fabric works for Singapore’s humidity?
Lawn and cotton are the coolest for daily wear, and cambric holds a neater shape for the office. Chiffon suits evening dupattas and dresses, ideally with a light lining. We suggest fabric for your design in the quote.
