Being on the water means humid summers, and humidity is what makes clothing cling. A loose A-line or straight kameez in lawn, with three-quarter or full sleeves, lets air move, and wide-leg or straight trousers stay cooler than a fitted churidar. If the lawn is pale, a light cotton lining stops it showing through in the sun.
Winter evenings by the lagoon can turn breezy, and that is the time for a cambric kurta with full sleeves or a dupatta you can wrap around your shoulders.
If you already own an unstitched suit, our Stitching Only service for the UAE makes it up once we have seen daylight photos and confirmed the fabric is suitable and there is enough. You then courier it to us in Pakistan, and the finished outfit comes back to Umm Al Quwain as a second, separate shipment.
With Fabric + Stitching we source the fabric ourselves and send photos with your quote, so only one parcel travels: the finished piece, straight to your door.

Abayas for Umm Al Quwain are made to your own measurements in Pakistan and couriered to your door. There is no shop of ours in the emirate and no fitting: you send body measurements, or the measurements of an abaya that already fits you well, and tell us which they are. You order online or on WhatsApp, in English or Arabic.
Collection designs start from £80 with a matching scarf, in nida, crepe or chiffon, and any of them can be made in any colour. For humid summers on the lagoon, nida is the easy everyday fabric; chiffon suits an evening, worn over an inner layer. Your written quote is in US dollars, pounds or euros and includes delivery and any UAE import duty and VAT.
