Eid clothes are usually richer than the rest of the year, and three of these designs lean on gold. On chocolate brown the palm fronds are stitched in gold and bronze, which glows warmly rather than shining. Burgundy carries gold arabesque scrollwork, the most traditional of the four. Deep teal mixes gold with teal thread in wave lines and small fan shells, so the pattern looks lighter than the cloth behind it.
Ivory is the odd one out. Its magnolias are peach and soft gold on long stems, which makes it the palest Eid design and a sensible pick when Eid falls in the heat of a Gulf summer. On the three dark colours the thread does the celebrating; on ivory the colour of the abaya itself feels like an occasion.

Think about how your Eid runs. If it starts with the prayer and carries on with visits to family, a closed shape is the whole outfit in one piece: the butterfly, bell, lantern and layered abayas go over plain clothes and need nothing else. The lantern’s deep cuffs and the butterfly’s gathered wrists also keep the sleeves out of the food when you are serving guests.
If you have a new dress or kameez you want people to see, choose an open shape. The kimono, bisht, tulip, tailored, cape and pleated abayas all hang open down the front, so the outfit underneath shows down the centre. The cape and pleated designs have the most going on, with an embroidered cape over the shoulders or knife pleats that swing as you walk. For a calmer Eid, the tailored cut keeps its embroidery to the shawl collar and the cuffs.

Every abaya here is cut and stitched for you once your quote is approved and paid in full. Production takes 5 to 7 working days from that point, and shipping is on top and varies by destination. We never promise an arrival date, so the safe plan is to send your request early in Ramadan rather than in its last week, and to ask about timing for your country in the quote. The same applies before Eid ul-Adha. Our Eid outfit timeline works backwards from the day.
Measurements are agreed in writing before cutting, so have them ready when you ask. You can send body measurements or numbers taken from an abaya you already own, as long as each is labelled as one or the other. The quote includes delivery and any import charges, so nothing is due when the parcel reaches your door.

Ordering early has a second benefit: the abaya is ready for the last nights of Ramadan as well, for iftar with family or taraweeh at the mosque. For long evenings, crepe hangs well and keeps its line through hours of sitting. Chiffon is the lightest of the three fabrics but slightly sheer, so add a lining if you will be under bright lights or near a camera flash.
The scarf that comes with each design is in the same colour as the abaya, so the set is ready for Eid photographs without searching for the right shade. If you would rather keep the gold work away from your face and scarf, the tulip and layered designs can have their embroidery on the sleeves only.

Ivory with the Magnolia embroidery is the palest of the four, and dark colours feel warmer in direct sun. Pair it with nida, which is soft and matte, or with chiffon, lined if you want it opaque.
Yes. Each of the forty designs comes with a scarf in the same colour as the abaya, at no extra cost.
