Abayas by style
The lantern abaya is one of the neatest shapes we make: closed to the floor, with a small stand collar and a placket down the front. The sleeves are full and gathered into a deep cuff, so they puff gently between shoulder and wrist like a paper lantern. All ten designs place their embroidery around the collar, down the placket and on the cuffs.

There is nothing to wrap or hold shut. The placket runs down from the stand collar; if you have a preference for how it fastens, such as press studs, write it in your quote request and we confirm what suits the design. Done up, it gives a clean line down the centre that looks smart at a desk, in a classroom or at a formal family event.
The stand collar sits close around the neck. Depending on how you wear your scarf, it either shows above it or stays hidden underneath. If you would rather not have a collar at all, ask for a round neck instead.

Three places carry the work: the collar, the strip down the placket, and the deep cuffs. The placket line draws the eye down the centre front, which lengthens the look, and the cuffs repeat the motif at your hands.
The pearl grey lattice is the most office-friendly, almost tone on tone. Cream jasmine on black and the olive branches on olive green are made for daily wear. Gold palm fronds on chocolate brown and gold waves on deep teal give the collar and cuffs real presence for Eid.

The fullness of a lantern sleeve sits between the shoulder and the cuff, and the deep cuff holds it in at the wrist. That keeps the sleeve out of your food and your work, and in a cold British wind it stops draughts running up the arm. A thin long-sleeved layer fits underneath comfortably.
If you push your sleeves up for wudu, mention it when you send your measurements and we tell you in your quote whether the cuff can be cut a little looser. If you would like a simpler line altogether, the lantern sleeves can be swapped for straight ones.
Crepe gives the puff a rounded, structured shape and keeps the collar crisp. Nida makes a softer, slouchier sleeve for every day. Chiffon gathers into a light, airy puff for evening wear, though it is slightly sheer and is better with a lining.

Navy iris and dusty mauve rosebud sit in the middle: smart enough for a dinner or a family visit, gentle enough for a weekend. Taupe acacia is the neutral that goes with almost anything. Burgundy arabesque and ivory magnolia are for Eid and celebrations, and the ivory shows the gold thread most clearly of all.
Every one comes with a scarf in its own colour. Each is made in Pakistan in 5 to 7 working days once the quote is approved and paid, with shipping time on top.
