Your own abaya fabric or ours? Choosing how to order
Should you send your own abaya fabric or let us supply it? How Fabric + Stitching and Stitching Only work for a made-to-measure abaya, and which suits you.

Every abaya we make is cut and stitched to your measurements in Pakistan, and there are two ways to supply the fabric. With Fabric + Stitching, we supply the agreed fabric and send the finished abaya in one parcel. With Stitching Only, you buy your own abaya fabric, we confirm it, and you post it to us before we make your abaya and ship it back. Choose Fabric + Stitching for simplicity; choose Stitching Only when you already have, or have found, a specific fabric you love.

How Fabric + Stitching works
You describe the abaya you want and the fabric feel you have in mind, for example light matte nida, a medium crepe or a linen blend, with any reference photos. We propose fabric for your design and share photos and descriptions with your written quote, so you can see it before agreeing. We do not promise any particular fabric until it is in your quote, and fabric is never sold on its own, only as part of the made-to-measure garment.
Once you approve and pay in full, production takes 5 to 7 working days, then the abaya is shipped to you. There is one shipping stage, and the quote includes delivery and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees. Read more on the Fabric + Stitching page.
How Stitching Only works
First, send photos of your fabric and tell us what it is, its width and its length. We confirm that it suits your design, that there is enough, and how to send it, all before you post anything. You then send it to us in Pakistan yourself, arranged by you unless your quote says otherwise. Production takes 5 to 7 working days from when your fabric reaches us, after approval and full payment, and the finished abaya is shipped to you. That makes two separate shipping stages.

Which route suits you
- Choose Fabric + Stitching if you want one parcel and one shipping stage, you are happy to choose from photos and descriptions, or you do not have access to good abaya fabric where you live.
- Choose Stitching Only if you have already bought fabric, you want to feel the cloth in your hand before committing, or you have local fabric shops you trust, as many customers in Dammam and other Gulf cities do.
- Mix them if you like: for example your own jacquard for the abaya and our fabric for a matching inner dress. Say so in your notes and we quote it as one order.
Quantity, colour and cancellations
How much fabric an abaya needs depends on your length, the cut, the sleeves, the fabric width and, for jacquard or prints, the pattern direction. We confirm the quantity before you buy or post anything. Our guide to fabric widths explains why the same length of cloth can be plenty or too little.
Colours in photos can look slightly different from the fabric itself, and a small difference in shade is not a fault. We do not offer free samples. If a paid order is cancelled before cutting, you are refunded minus the cost of any fabric already bought for it, and with Stitching Only nothing is deducted for fabric; once cutting starts there is no refund. Starting your quote
Pick the route on the form: a Fabric + Stitching quote or a Stitching Only quote. In Saudi Arabia, as in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, you choose to be quoted in US dollars, euros or pounds; the UK is quoted in pounds. See Stitching Only in Saudi Arabia for the local view.
Payment is in full in advance by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link, once you have approved the written quote.

Can I send my own fabric for an abaya?
Yes, with Stitching Only. Send photos first; we confirm the fabric is suitable, that there is enough and how to send it before you post anything to us in Pakistan.
Can I buy abaya fabric from you without stitching?
No. Fabric is only supplied as part of Fabric + Stitching, where we make the abaya from it to your measurements.
Which route is quicker?
Production is 5 to 7 working days either way. With Stitching Only the days start when your fabric reaches us, so the time it takes to post your fabric is added before production begins.
