Made for the rain
Salzburg is known for its rain, so practical choices help. Cambric and cotton blends dry faster than heavy silks, a kameez cut to sit just above the knee keeps the hem out of puddles, and trousers that end neatly at the ankle look tidy with boots. In winter, a lined karandi kameez with full sleeves is warm under a raincoat; our lining guide explains when a lining helps.
Festival summers and celebrations
In July and August the Salzburg Festival brings opera, concerts and theatre to the city, and a dressy evening calls for something more than everyday wear. A long kameez with a band collar, made in linen, is elegant on a summer night, or choose our tiered maxi dress in chiffon, with a lining if you want it less sheer. Sending fabric from Salzburg
If you have your own unstitched suit, we need photos before you post anything, so we can confirm it is suitable and enough for your design and agree how to send it. Then post it to Pakistan with tracking and keep the receipt. Your finished outfit comes back as a second shipment, with delivery and any import charges already in your quote. Do you have a shop in Salzburg?
No. We have no shop, studio or measuring service in Salzburg or anywhere else in Austria. Everything is ordered online, made in Pakistan and shipped to your address.
Can I order for the festival season?
Yes. Put your date on the quote form and start early, because making takes 5 to 7 working days after you approve and pay, and shipping time is added on top.
