Summer fabric and winter fabric
For the long hot season, lawn and fine cotton are the obvious choices: they let air through and wash easily after a humid day. In the damp spring months, cambric is a good middle ground because it keeps its shape and does not cling.
From December to February, evenings can feel genuinely cool, especially by the harbour or in the New Territories. A linen kurta with a lining, or a soft marina for something warmer, gives you a suit for the cooler months. If you only want one outfit to wear all year, say so, and we suggest something in between.
Seeing and approving the fabric
Your quote includes photos and descriptions of the fabric we propose. We do not post free samples, and nothing is cut until you agree the fabric and the design in writing. The total covers fabric, stitching, delivery to your Hong Kong address and any import charges, in the currency agreed with you when you enquire.
We make the outfit in 5 to 7 working days once you have approved and paid, and the shipping time is extra. Fabric is supplied only as part of an outfit we make; see Fabric + Stitching or start a quote with our fabric.

Your written quote includes the fabric, the stitching, delivery and any import charges. Once it is paid in full, we make the outfit in 5 to 7 working days.

Can you supply a heavier fabric for winter?
Yes. Linen, marina, khaddar or karandi can be suggested for cooler months, depending on your design. We show you the fabric in photos with your quote.
Will the fabric be different from what I see in the photos?
Screens show colour differently, so we describe the fabric as well as photographing it. Ask about anything you are unsure of before you approve the quote.
