Made-to-measure clothing delivered to Cape Town
Cape Town turns the usual South African pattern on its head: its rain falls in winter, and its summers are dry and famously windy. That affects what you want to wear, from a kameez that will not flap open in a gust to a lining warm enough for a July evening. We make each outfit to your measurements in Pakistan and courier it to your address anywhere from the City Bowl to the southern and northern suburbs.

Ordering from Cape Town
Sizes, customs rules and sending fabric from South Africa: ordering from South Africa.
Rain in July, wind in January
When the south-easter is blowing, a long, floaty chiffon dupatta becomes hard work. A shorter dupatta, a two-piece without one, or a fitted kameez with straight trousers is easier in summer. A co-ord with a buttoned band collar stays put in the wind, too.
Winter is cool and wet rather than freezing, so a lined linen or khaddar kameez with full sleeves works under a raincoat. Ask for a lining when you enquire if you are not sure; we will advise for your fabric.
Eid and gatherings across the Cape
From the Bo-Kaap to family homes in the suburbs, Eid in Cape Town means visiting, and people notice what you wear. A lightly embroidered three-piece in lawn suits the day, and for an evening gathering a flared angrakha-style kameez can be made in whichever colour you like.
Eid depends on the new moon, so the exact day can shift. Order early and we can customise one of our designs without a rush.

FAQ
Cape Town questions
Also in South Africa
Can students at UCT or Stellenbosch order a single kurta?
Yes. One piece is the minimum, so a single kurta is welcome. Start from one of our designs or your own idea, enter your measurements, and we send a written quote before anything is made.
Do you have a studio in Cape Town?
No. There is no studio, shop or tailor of ours in Cape Town or anywhere in South Africa. Every outfit is made in Pakistan and couriered to you.
