Shopping in Fordsburg, stitching with us
Fordsburg and neighbouring Mayfair are where many Joburg women go for dress fabric, Pakistani and Indian suits and Eid shopping. If a pack from there is waiting in your cupboard, photograph the kameez, trouser and dupatta pieces in daylight by a window, and note the lengths if the fabric was cut from a roll.
Choose Stitching Only on the form. We tell you whether the fabric suits your design and is long enough, and agree how to send it, before you book a courier to Pakistan. The finished outfit comes back to you separately.
From June frost to January storms
Joburg winters are dry and sunny with cold nights, so a lined kameez with full sleeves in khaddar or marina earns its keep from June to August. In summer, a cambric or lawn kurta breathes in the heat, and a dupatta is handy when the afternoon storm arrives.

Is there anyone in Johannesburg who can measure me?
No. We have no shop, studio or tailor in Johannesburg. You measure at home with a soft tape using our size guide, and if you would like help, choose measurement guidance and we talk you through it on WhatsApp.
What will I pay when the parcel reaches Joburg?
Nothing. Your written quote includes delivery to your door and any import duties, taxes and courier fees, and you pay it in full before we start making.
Can I order a warm suit for a winter Eid?
Yes. Tell us the date and that you want warmth, and we will suggest a heavier fabric, a lining and full sleeves. Allow time for agreeing the design, 5 to 7 working days of making, and the courier journey.
