Because it is worn open, what you wear underneath shows down the centre. A plain maxi dress or a long kameez and trousers in a matching or neutral shade keeps the line long. If you would rather it closed, ask for a hidden snap or a tie at the waist in your quote.

On every kimono in this collection the embroidery runs down both front edges and around the sleeve cuffs, with a small matching motif at the back of the neck. Those are the parts people see when the abaya hangs open, so the work frames you rather than covering the whole garment.
You choose hand, machine or mixed embroidery at the same price. Machine work gives crisp, even lines, which suits the diamond lattice of the pearl grey design. Hand work has a softer, slightly raised look that suits the flowers on the jasmine, rosebud and magnolia designs.

Every design comes in nida, crepe or chiffon for the same price. Nida is soft and matte with an easy drape and is the everyday choice. Crepe is a little heavier and hangs well, which helps an open abaya keep its shape in the wind. Chiffon is light and floaty but slightly sheer, so ask for a lining if you want it less see-through.
For daily wear, black, olive and taupe hide the marks of a busy day. Burgundy, deep teal and chocolate brown with gold thread are the dressier choices for Eid and family events, and ivory with peach magnolias is the lightest of the ten.

Yes, because we make it to your measurements. Send your height and the length you want from the shoulder to the hem, and the sleeves and hem are cut for you rather than shortened from a standard size.
