Abayas by style
This is a closed abaya with a round neck and an A-line body that widens gently to the floor. Each sleeve is made of two flared layers, one over the other. Instead of a border down a front opening, the ten designs place a spray of embroidery over one shoulder and carry it onto the sleeves, so the work sits off-centre.

Each sleeve has a flared layer lying over a second one, both cut from the same fabric as the body. They move as you do and overlap in different ways as you raise or lower your arms, which gives the abaya its character without any added trim. In chiffon the layers are at their lightest; in crepe they hang a little heavier and fall closer to the arm.
If you prefer something simpler, ask for one sleeve layer instead of two. You keep the flare and lose some of the volume, which can be easier for wudu, cooking or a day at a desk.

On these designs the embroidery gathers in a spray over one shoulder and continues on the layered sleeves. With no front opening to decorate, that shoulder spray becomes the focal point, close to your scarf and face. Motifs drawn on long stems, like the irises and the magnolias, sit naturally in a spray; the arabesque scrollwork and the diamond lattice give a more formal, patterned look.
If you want a plainer body, ask for embroidery on the sleeves only. The shoulder stays clear and the movement of the two layers carries the design.

Because it is closed at the neck, there is nothing to hold shut and nothing on show down the middle, so you can wear it over whatever you like, a T-shirt and jeans included. The A-line widens gently from the chest, giving room to walk and sit without the skirt pulling. If you have a preference for how it fastens at the neck, tell us in your quote request and we confirm what is possible in writing.
For Gulf heat, chiffon with a lining or a soft nida keeps a closed abaya comfortable. For a British winter, crepe has more body, and because it is made to your measurements you can ask for room for a warm layer underneath.

Not noticeably. The layers are flared rather than gathered, so they swing instead of bunching. Chiffon is the lightest option, and crepe hangs a little more.
Closed, with a round neck. It is worn over your clothes as a complete garment rather than open over a dress, so it covers you fully down the front.
They are wider at the wrist than a straight sleeve, so take care near a hob or a basin. If that is a concern for daily wear, choose one sleeve layer instead of two.
