Our tiered maxi dress is long, covered and light: chiffon falling in three tiers, with full balloon sleeves and a split band collar, in seven colours. It works for an Eid visit on the coast or a weekend in Nairobi, and the designs page shows what else you can start from.
For the coast: lawn, no lining, elbow sleeves and wide-leg trousers that let air move. For Nairobi in July: full sleeves, a lining and perhaps a waistcoat for warmth. For more coverage at work or the mosque: a longer kameez and a higher neckline. To wear with jeans: a shorter kurta and no dupatta.
Any of these can be combined with a different embroidery level or trouser style, and you choose Fabric + Stitching or Stitching Only. All the changes are agreed in writing before cutting.
How it works
Choose one of our designs as the starting point for your outfit.
Change the pieces (add a dupatta or waistcoat), the neckline, the sleeves, the kameez length, the trouser style, the lining or the embroidery level.
Choose Fabric + Stitching, where we supply the agreed fabric, or Stitching Only, where you send suitable fabric after we have confirmed it.
The final design and measurements are agreed in writing, and the outfit is made in 5 to 7 working days once your quote is paid, then shipped to you.
