Penang’s Little India, around Lebuh Pasar and Lebuh Queen, is full of saree and textile shops, and it is busiest in the weeks before Deepavali. If you have bought dress material there, check whether it came as a set with a matching dupatta or as one long length, then measure it and photograph it near a window.

Light, breathable outfits for island life
Walking the old town or sitting at a hawker stall in the evening is easier in a loose lawn kurta than in anything fitted and lined. For lecturers and students at Universiti Sains Malaysia, or anyone in an air-conditioned office, a straight knee-length kameez with three-quarter sleeves and straight trousers is a practical everyday choice.

Do you have a shop in George Town?
No. We have no shop, studio or tailor in Penang or anywhere in Malaysia. You order online, and the outfit is made in Pakistan and shipped to your address.
Can you deliver to the mainland side of Penang?
Yes. We ship to addresses on the island and on the mainland, including Butterworth and Bukit Mertajam. Delivery and any import charges are included in your written quote.
