Stitching tips

Getting the most from Bareeze

  • i.

    Before you cut

Shadow work shows through sheer fabric by design; a lining under the embroidered area keeps it crisp without hiding it.

  • ii.

    Pieces and pairing

Shisha (mirror) work needs careful pressing; we press from the reverse over a towel.

  • iii.

    Finishing

Cut work panels should not be cut through; we plan seams around them before we start.

  • iv.

    What to send us

Photos of every piece in daylight, the label or listing showing the lengths, your measurements (or a kameez that fits), and screenshots of styles you like.

FAQ

Bareeze stitching questions

Can you stitch a Bareeze unstitched suit?

Yes, through our Stitching Only service, for customers in the UK, the USA and Europe. Send photos of the Bareeze pack and its label with the style you want, and we confirm the fabric is suitable and enough for your design and send a written quote. Once it is confirmed, you post the suit to us in Pakistan, and we stitch it to your measurements and ship the finished outfit to you.

Does it matter where I bought my Bareeze suit?

No. A Bareeze pack bought in the UK, the USA, Europe or Pakistan is stitched in exactly the same way. Wherever you are, ask us before you send it: we confirm the fabric and the sending arrangements first, because the suit travels to us in Pakistan and the finished outfit is then shipped to you.

How do I tell if a Bareeze product is unstitched?

Designs carry poetic names with the embroidery technique in the title, for example shisha work, shadow work, cut work or cross stitch, and are sold as 3PC or 2PC kits.

Which Bareeze fabrics can you stitch?

All of the fabrics in the range, subject to a check that yours suits the design you want. Bareeze’s unstitched range includes lawn, cotton, cambric, linen, khaddar, karandi, khaddi, chiffon and irish; each needs a slightly different cut, seam finish or lining, and we confirm it before you send the suit.

Is The Gilded Seam connected to Bareeze?

No. The Gilded Seam is independent: we make made-to-measure women’s clothing in Pakistan for customers in the UK, the USA and Europe. We name Bareeze only because customers send us their unstitched suits to be stitched; we do not sell Bareeze products.
