Your fabric, made up in Pakistan

If you have fabric or an unstitched suit in the UAE and want it made to your measurements, you can send it to us in Pakistan with our Stitching Only service. The order has two shipping stages: you send the fabric from the UAE to Pakistan, then we ship the finished outfit back to your address. The important rule is to wait: send photos first, and post nothing until we have confirmed that the fabric suits your design, that there is enough of it, and how to send it.

Our Stitching Only page for the UAE gives the overview. This guide walks through the practical steps from a UAE address.

Fabric bought in the Emirates

Many women in the UAE already own the fabric: an embroidered lawn pack from a textile shop in Bur Dubai or Karama, a length from the markets in Sharjah, or a suit carried back after a trip to Pakistan. All of these can work. Before you photograph anything, check the pack against its label: our guide to reading an unstitched suit label shows how to confirm the pieces and lengths.

If you are unsure whether there is enough for the design you want, our article on how much fabric a three-piece suit needs gives a useful starting point, and what to do if your suit is short of fabric covers the options.

Step 1: photos and a quote request

Start on the Stitching Only quote form for the UAE and attach clear photos.

  • Each piece laid flat in daylight, so the colour and print are true.
  • Close-ups of any embroidered panels, borders or neckline pieces.
  • The label or packaging if you still have it.
  • The design you want, as a screenshot, sketch or description.

Step 2: wait for confirmation

We reply with what we think of the fabric for your design, whether the quantity is enough, and the sending arrangements. Sometimes the answer is a small change, such as a shorter sleeve to fit the shirt length, or a lining you will need to add. Everything is agreed in writing, and only then should the parcel leave your home. Unless your quote says otherwise, you arrange this first shipment yourself.

Step 3: packing and the customs form

A tidy parcel is easier for everyone to handle.

  • Fold each piece neatly and put the whole set in a sealed plastic bag to keep out damp and dust.
  • Add a note with your name, email and the reference from your quote.
  • If you are sending several suits, bag each one separately and label it to match the quote.
  • Send only what the quote covers; leave out anything unrelated.
  • Describe the contents honestly on the courier’s customs declaration, for example as unstitched fabric for personal use, and keep the tracking number.

Step 4: making and the return journey

When your fabric reaches us in Pakistan, we check it against the photos and your quote, and making starts. It takes 5 to 7 working days, counted from the day the fabric arrives, provided the quote has already been approved and paid in full. The finished outfit is then couriered to you in the UAE, and your quote already covers that delivery and any customs duty, VAT and courier fees at your end, so nothing is due when it arrives.

Common questions

Who pays for sending my fabric from the UAE to Pakistan?

You arrange and pay for that first shipment yourself, unless your quote says otherwise. The return delivery of the finished outfit, with any import charges in the UAE, is included in your written quote.

Can I send several unstitched suits in one parcel?

Yes, once we have confirmed each one from your photos. Bag and label each suit separately so it matches the line in your quote.

When does the making time start for Stitching Only?

When your fabric reaches us, as long as the quote has been approved and paid in full. Making takes 5 to 7 working days, and the courier time back to the UAE is added.
