Where to start

Start on our designs page and pick the piece closest to what you want. Our tiered maxi dress, a floor-length chiffon dress with a split band collar, balloon sleeves and three soft tiers in seven colours, is a good example: lovely for a summer party in Lausanne or a garden lunch by Lake Zurich, and easy to adapt for the rest of the Swiss year.

Changes that help in a Swiss climate

For cold weather, a lining is the most useful change: it adds warmth and makes a light fabric such as chiffon less sheer. Full-length sleeves help from October to April if a design has shorter ones. A slightly shorter kameez is easier on a bike in Lausanne, while a longer one looks elegant at a winter dinner. Straight trousers can become cigarette or wide-leg trousers, and you can add a dupatta or waistcoat for an extra layer.

For a summer outfit, we can keep things light and unlined. Every change is agreed with you in writing before cutting.

Can I use my own fabric for one of your designs?

Yes, with Stitching Only. Send photos first so we can confirm it is suitable and enough for the design before you post it to us in Pakistan.
