Campus life at EPFL and UNIL
Students and researchers here want clothes that cope with a long day and a bike or metro ride. University and campus outfits has more ideas, and you can send your own design if you have something specific in mind.
Hills, lake and weather
Walking Lausanne’s hills is warm work even in winter, so layers you can open up help more than one heavy suit: a lined cambric kameez under a coat, rather than thick velvet. Summers by the lake and up in the Lavaux vineyard terraces are bright and warm, and lawn or linen is the natural choice. For Eid or a family dinner, a flared kameez with an angrakha wrap is lovely in lawn for summer or marina for winter, and our tiered maxi dress in chiffon is another easy choice for a summer party.
Placing an order from Lausanne

If you post your own fabric, we confirm it from photos first and agree how it travels, and the finished outfit comes back as a separate shipment. Your quote includes delivery and any import charges. I am a student. Can I order just one outfit?
Yes. The minimum order is one suit, so a single kurta and trousers is a normal order. You pay in full once you approve the written quote, in euros, US dollars or pounds sterling.
Is there somewhere in Lausanne to be measured?
No. We have no shop or measuring service in Lausanne. You measure at home with the size guide, and we agree the numbers with you in writing before cutting.
