Between the office and the lake
Plenty of Zurich working days are spent in banks, insurers and consultancies, where clean lines matter more than ornament. A knee-length kurta in plain cambric with a band collar and straight trousers looks at home in a meeting near Paradeplatz, and a shorter mid-thigh kurta with cigarette trousers works under a wool coat on the walk from Zürich HB. Students at ETH or the University of Zurich often prefer a short kurti over jeans for long library days.

Fog, snow and choosing fabric
Winter in Zurich often means a lid of grey fog over the city for days at a time, with the sun only above it on the Uetliberg. Khaddar or a lined cambric kameez, cut with room for a thermal underneath, makes that stretch bearable. Spring arrives with the Sechseläuten in April, and by July lawn is the obvious choice. Your finished outfit returns as a separate shipment. Or choose Fabric + Stitching and we supply the fabric. Either way, your quote already includes delivery and any import charges. Can I be measured somewhere in Zurich?
No. We have no shop, studio or measuring service in Zurich. You measure yourself at home with the size guide, in centimetres or inches, and we agree every number with you in writing before cutting.
Which currency will my Zurich quote be in?
Euros, US dollars or pounds sterling, whichever you choose. We do not issue quotes in Swiss francs, and the order is paid in full before we start.
