Many women on the coast wear shalwar kameez for family occasions and something closer to Western dress for work, the mall or the Corniche. Made to measure suits both. Alongside suits and kurtas, we make dresses, skirts, tops and trousers to your measurements, which helps when shop sizes never give the sleeve length or hem you want. Two of our own designs show the idea: the shirt dress and the floor-length tiered maxi dress, both available in standard sizes or made to measure.

For a dress, the length is the measurement people most often get wrong. Stand in the shoes you plan to wear, measure from the top of the shoulder to where you want the hem to fall, and add your height in your notes. The size guide shows every point, and we check anything that looks unusual with you before cutting.

Co-ords and kurtas for humid days

From late spring to early autumn the coast is hot and sticky, so breathable cottons and easy shapes matter more than anything. A matching co-ord, such as a straight kurta with wide trousers, looks finished with almost no effort and stays cool in lawn, cambric or linen. Our co-ord sets guide suggests pairings.

• For work: a knee-length kurta in cambric, straight trousers and a band collar look neat all day.
• For weekends: a looser kurta or kaftan-style top in lawn, with palazzos.
• For evenings out: a co-ord in a richer fabric with a little embroidery at the neckline.
• For winter: the coastal winter is short and mild, so linen or a light khaddar covers most of it.

Delivery to compounds and towers

Plenty of homes in the region are on residential compounds or in large towers. When your order goes ahead, give the compound name, gate or building number, your National Address short code if you have one, and a mobile number you answer. For the first enquiry, your city is all we need.

If you often cross the causeway, note that we deliver to Bahrain as well; just put the right country on the quote form so the delivery and import charges in your quote are correct.

Your fabric or ours

Choose Fabric + Stitching and we propose fabric with photos and a description, so only one parcel travels. Choose Stitching Only for Saudi Arabia if you have your own suit or cloth: send us photos first, and once we confirm it is suitable and enough, you courier it to us in Pakistan. That is two separate shipping stages, so allow for both when planning.

Getting your quote

Start on the quote form, with Saudi Arabia selected, and add a picture or notes. You choose whether the quote is in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling; it includes the outfit, delivery and any customs duty, VAT and courier fees. After you approve and pay in full, we make your order in 5 to 7 working days, and the courier time to the coast follows.
