The Minho climate
The north-west of Portugal is among the wettest parts of the country, which is why the countryside around Braga stays so green. Winters are cool and damp, with chilly mornings, so a kameez with full sleeves and a cotton lining, in cambric or karandi, is worth ordering before November. Summers inland are properly warm, and a lawn kurta with elbow sleeves suits July and August.
Campus days and working weeks
Students at the University of Minho, and the many people working in Braga’s offices, tend to want clothes that look smart without fuss. A single kurta is a perfectly good first order. Our minimum is one suit, and there are no free samples, but we share photos and descriptions of the fabric with your quote.
Getting your order started
Send your measurements, your design and your choice of fabric route through the quote form for Portugal. If you are sending your own suit, wait until we confirm it before posting it to Pakistan; you book that shipment and keep the tracking number. Is there a shop of yours in Braga?
No. There is no shop, studio or measuring service of ours in Braga. You measure yourself at home, we agree the details in writing, and the outfit is made in Pakistan and shipped to you.
Can I pay as a student without a Portuguese bank card?
Payment is in full, in advance, by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link, so you can use whichever of those works for you. The quote can be in euros, US dollars or pounds.
