One Kingdom, several climates

Saudi Arabia is large, and an abaya that is perfect in one city can be uncomfortable in another. Tell us where you will wear it:

• Riyadh and the centre: very dry summer heat, then surprisingly cold winter evenings. A breathable abaya for summer and a denser or lined one for winter make a sensible pair. See our Riyadh page.
• Jeddah and the coast: humid most of the year, so loose cuts and fabrics that do not cling when damp are kinder. Our Jeddah page has more.
• The Eastern Province: humid summers and long air-conditioned days at work, so mid-weight fabric that is not too thin indoors works well.
• Abha and the highlands: milder and cooler, where a slightly heavier abaya with room for a layer underneath is welcome.

Open, closed and everything between

Every style is agreed per order rather than chosen from a fixed list. Some women prefer a closed abaya that slips over the head or fastens discreetly; others like an open front worn over a coordinating dress, or a coat-style cut with a defined shoulder. A wide, flowing shape with sleeves cut as part of the body suits relaxed occasions, while a narrower sleeve with a cuff is easier for driving and work.

Black remains a classic choice, and a well-cut black abaya in a good matte fabric is endlessly useful. Many women also order deep navy, charcoal, earthy browns or muted greens for variety. Small details that add up

Because the abaya is cut for you, ask for the details that ready-made ones leave out: side-seam pockets, a slightly longer back hem if you prefer heels, cuffs with press studs, or a lining only in the upper body to keep it cool. Fabric, currency and charges

Choose Fabric + Stitching and we supply the fabric agreed in the quote; the Saudi Fabric + Stitching page explains this. Choose Stitching Only if you have bought fabric yourself; we confirm it first, then you send it to us in Pakistan.

Saudi customers select US dollars, euros or pounds sterling for their quote and pay in full beforehand by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link. Delivery to your address and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees are already in the quote, so the courier collects nothing on the doorstep. Production takes 5 to 7 working days from approval and payment, and shipping time is extra.
