Pakistani suits in Bahrain: a made-to-measure guide
Pakistani suits in Bahrain, made to your measurements: what you can order, how the written quote works, what Bahrain customs says, and delivery to Manama and beyond.
InspirationPakistani suits in Bahrain, cut to your measurements
If you want Pakistani suits in Bahrain that fit you properly, ordering made to measure online is a straightforward option. You choose the design, send your measurements, and agree everything in a written quote; we cut and stitch the outfit in Pakistan and courier it to your address in Bahrain, with delivery and any import charges already in the price. We have no shop, studio or tailor anywhere in Bahrain, so the whole process happens by message and form.
The Bahrain page gathers the essentials, and there are pages for Manama, Muharraq, Riffa and Isa Town.
What you can order
Everything is women’s clothing, made to measure, and one piece is a normal order:
- three-piece and two-piece shalwar kameez
- kurtas and kameez for everyday and work
- co-ords, Eid outfits and casual party wear
- abayas, made to measure (see custom abayas)
- Western pieces: dresses, skirts, tops and trousers, such as our shirt dress
Your fabric or ours
With Fabric + Stitching in Bahrain we supply the agreed fabric, so a single parcel comes to you. With Stitching Only you send us fabric you already own, perhaps a suit bought in a Manama market or a gift from family, after we have confirmed it suits the design and there is enough. That adds a shipment from Bahrain to Pakistan, which you arrange.
Not sure which? Think about whether the fabric matters to you. If it does, send it; if you simply want a lovely outfit, let us source it. Our guide to choosing fabric helps you describe what you want.
Briefing the design
Most orders start from a picture. Upload screenshots and say what you would keep and change, or pick one of our designs and ask for a different neckline, sleeve, length or trouser through customisation. If you have something entirely your own in mind, custom design for Bahrain explains how a sketch or description becomes an outfit. Our tips on briefing a tailor with screenshots apply here too.
For the first enquiry we only need your name, email, country and city, the garment, how many, your service choice, design images and any notes. Your full address is taken once the order goes ahead.
What Bahrain customs says, and what you pay
Bahrain’s Customs Affairs FAQ states that total taxes on imports are 15 per cent, made up of 5 per cent customs duty and 10 per cent VAT, and that lower-value personal parcels are treated differently. We do not give tax advice, and we do not publish a threshold because we could not confirm one officially.
What matters for you is simpler: your written quote includes delivery to your address in Bahrain and any import duties, taxes and courier fees on the parcel, so you have nothing to pay when it arrives. If a courier ever asks you for money, contact us first.
Currency, payment and timing
Customers in Bahrain choose whether their quote is issued in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling. Payment is in full, in advance, by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link, once you have approved the quote. We then make the outfit in 5 to 7 working days; for Stitching Only, the count starts when your fabric reaches us. Courier time to Bahrain is added and varies.
Bahrain addresses use building, road and block numbers; have them ready, with a mobile number you answer, when the order goes ahead. Measure with the size guide, then start on the Bahrain quote form.
Common questions
Do you have a tailor in Manama?
No. We have no shop, studio or tailor in Bahrain. Your outfit is made in Pakistan and couriered to you, and every detail is agreed in writing first.
Will I pay customs duty or VAT when my parcel arrives in Bahrain?
No. Your written quote includes delivery and any import duties, taxes and courier fees, so there is nothing extra to pay on arrival.
Can I order for someone else in Bahrain?
Yes. Send the wearer’s own measurements and her address in Bahrain, and the quote covers delivery there.
