Can you send fabric from Saudi Arabia for stitching?

Yes. If you have an unstitched suit or a length of cloth in Riyadh, Jeddah or anywhere else in the Kingdom, you can send it to us in Pakistan and we cut, stitch and finish it to your measurements, then ship the outfit back to you. The order of events matters: you show us the fabric in photos first, we confirm it is suitable and that there is enough for your design, and only after that do you post it. This is our Stitching Only service for Saudi Arabia.

Sending first and asking later is the most common way to lose time, so here is how to do it in the right order.

Step one: photos and a short description

Lay each piece flat near a window in daylight and photograph it whole, then close up so the weave and any embroidery are visible. Include the label or the brand’s product page if you have it, and measure the length of each piece with a tape. Our guide to photographing fabric for a quote shows the angles that help most.

Then describe the outfit you want: the cut, neckline, sleeves, kameez length and trousers. A screenshot is useful, but say what you want changed from it.

Step two: is there enough for your design?

Packs are cut for the brand’s own design, and changes often need more cloth. A longer kameez, full sleeves, a flared kalidar or wide palazzos can all use fabric the pack did not plan for. We check the quantities against your design before you send anything and tell you plainly if it will not stretch.

If it is short, there are usually options: a contrast sleeve, a different trouser style, or a plain fabric for the lining. Our articles on how much fabric a three-piece suit needs and what to do if your suit is short explain the trade-offs.

Step three: packing for the journey

Once we have confirmed the fabric and given you the sending details, pack it with care:

  • Keep it dry. Wrap the fabric in a clean plastic bag before it goes into the envelope or box, which matters on the humid coasts.
  • Fold, do not crush. Fold embroidered panels with the work facing inwards and a sheet of tissue between layers.
  • Add a note inside with your name, your email and the reference from our reply.
  • Remove pins and loose trims that could snag or go missing.
  • Keep the receipt and tracking number, and send us the tracking once the parcel is on its way.

Who arranges the courier

You choose and pay for the courier that takes your fabric from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, unless your quote says otherwise. Follow the courier’s own instructions for describing the contents. The return journey is different: delivery of the finished outfit to your address, and any customs duty, VAT and courier fees on it, are already part of your written quote.

We have no collection point or shop in the Kingdom, so there is nowhere to hand fabric over in person. The general guide to posting your fabric for stitching has more packing advice.

After your fabric arrives

We let you know when it reaches us. Making time is 5 to 7 working days, counted from that point, as long as the quote has already been approved and paid in full. If you cancel a paid Stitching Only order before cutting, nothing is deducted for fabric; once cutting has started, there is no refund.

Ready to begin? Use the Stitching Only quote form, or read about unstitched suit stitching first. Customers in Riyadh often have suits from Batha, and those can be stitched the same way.

Common questions

Can I send fabric I bought in a Saudi souk?

Yes, if it suits the design and there is enough of it. Send us daylight photos and the piece lengths first, and we confirm before you post anything.

Can I send a kameez that fits along with my fabric?

Yes. A kameez that fits you well can be used to take your measurements. Mention it in your enquiry and we confirm how to send both together.

Is the return delivery included?

Yes. Your written quote includes delivery of the finished outfit to your address in Saudi Arabia and any customs duty, VAT and courier fees on that parcel.
