Sending several unstitched suits in one parcel
Having a few unstitched suits stitched at once? How to quote them together, label and pack each suit, keep the pieces apart and plan different designs in one order.
InspirationOne parcel, several suits
You can send several unstitched suits in one parcel, and it often makes sense: one quote, one set of measurements and one shipment to Pakistan. The key is to agree everything before you post and to keep each suit clearly separated and labelled inside the parcel, so every piece ends up in the right outfit. We confirm the fabric, the quantity and the sending arrangements for each suit before you send anything.
It is a common plan before Eid, at the start of the lawn season, or after a trip home when the suitcase came back full of packs. Our Eid timeline and lawn season guide help with timing.
Quote them together
Ask for all the suits in one quote request. Each suit can have its own design, so a work kameez, an Eid outfit and a casual co-ord can sit in the same order. Number them, Suit 1, Suit 2, Suit 3, and use the same numbers in your photos, your notes and later on the labels.
One set of measurements usually covers them all, but say if any should differ: a looser cut for summer lawn, a longer kameez for a formal piece, or different trousers. Our guide to ease explains why you might want a different amount in different fabrics.
Mixing fabrics and occasions in one order
Several suits in one order do not have to be alike. A lawn kameez for summer, a cambric piece for work and a heavier khaddar suit for winter can all travel together, as long as each is clearly labelled. Tell us what each one is for, because the occasion often decides the details: a work kurta might have a neat band collar and pockets, while an Eid outfit can take a fuller cut and a statement neckline.
If one of the suits is embroidered or delicate, give it extra tissue and mention it in your notes. And if one of the packs turns out to be short of fabric, that is raised at the quote stage, before anything is posted, so the rest of the order can go ahead as planned.
Photographing several suits
Good photos make a multi-suit order straightforward.
- Photograph each suit separately, laid out with its own label, with its number written on a piece of paper in the shot.
- Take one group photo of all the suits together, which helps compare colours and spot anything mixed up.
- Note any loose extras, such as neckline motifs, borders or lace, and which suit they belong to.
- If a suit is missing a piece, say so now rather than after posting.
Packing so nothing gets mixed up
Put each suit in its own sealed plastic bag with a note inside listing its number, its pieces, your name and your quote reference. Small extras go in a smaller bag inside the bag of the suit they belong to. Similar packs from the same collection are the easiest to confuse, so the numbering matters most there.
Then place the bags together in a sturdy box or mailer, with a little room so the fabric is not crushed. Our guide to packing embroidered and delicate fabric covers wrapping, and the customs form guide explains how to describe a parcel like this honestly, with the number of pieces and their total value.
Timing and payment
The whole order is quoted in writing and paid in full in advance, by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link. Production is 5 to 7 working days, counted once the quote is approved and paid and your parcel has reached us. The finished suits are shipped back with delivery and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees included, so nothing is due when they arrive.
Starting your order
Upload everything on the Stitching Only quote form and enter the number of suits in the quantity field. The unstitched suit stitching page explains the two shipping stages, and pages such as Stitching Only in the UK, in the USA, or city pages like Birmingham and Houston, cover ordering from there.
Common questions
Can each suit in one order have a different design?
Yes. Each suit can have its own design, listed separately in the written quote. Number the suits in your photos and notes so each design is matched to the right fabric.
Do I need separate measurements for each suit?
Usually one set covers them all. Say if any suit should be cut differently, for example a looser summer kameez or a longer formal one.
Can I send more suits later for the same order?
Ask first. It is simplest when everything travels together, but if a second parcel is needed, we agree how it is handled before you post it.
