Summer in Brisbane is hot and humid, while winter is short, mild and mostly dry. That points to lawn and cambric for most of the year, since both let air through and wash without fuss. Pick three-quarter or looser sleeves if you are outdoors a lot, and skip a lining on everyday kurtas unless the fabric is sheer. Brisbane questions
Do I need a lining in Brisbane’s heat?
Usually not for everyday cotton or lawn, unless the fabric is see-through. For chiffon or a light-coloured lawn, a thin lining helps. Tell us how you will wear the outfit and we suggest what suits it.
Can I send you a suit I bought in Pakistan?
Yes, subject to fabric suitability and sufficient quantity. Send photos first and wait for us to confirm the fabric and how to send it before you post anything from Brisbane.
