Easy pieces for the warm months
The climate here is warm and humid for much of the year, with mild winters. A lawn kurta with three-quarter sleeves, a cambric co-ord or a loose two-piece is the kind of thing you will reach for most. If you like Western pieces, our tiered maxi dress in chiffon is long and covered but airy, and you can ask for a lining if you want it less sheer.
Students at Griffith’s Gold Coast campus or Bond often want a short kurta over jeans that survives a lot of washing. Light colours are kinder in strong sun, and we can suggest them when we source fabric for you.
Ordering from the coast
Everything is done online. Measure at home with a soft tape, choose your design or send your own, and fill in the quote form. Your written quote lists the design, fabric, measurements, delivery and any import charges, so there is nothing to pay when the parcel turns up.

Can you make a dress rather than a shalwar kameez?
Yes. We make Western pieces such as dresses, skirts, tops and trousers to your measurements, as well as shalwar kameez, kurtas and co-ords.
Do you have anyone on the Gold Coast?
No. There is no shop, studio or tailor of ours on the Gold Coast or elsewhere in Queensland. We work online and courier the finished outfit from Pakistan.
