Smart enough for the office
A lot of Canberra goes to work in an office, often in the public service, where a neat, covered outfit is the norm. A knee-length kurta with straight trousers, or a co-ord with a band collar and buttoned placket, looks professional and is comfortable through a long day of meetings. Ask for full sleeves if you want more coverage, and plain colours if you want the outfit to work with a blazer.
Students at ANU or the University of Canberra often go for a short kurta that pairs with jeans.

FAQ
Canberra questions
Can I wear a thermal layer under a made-to-measure kameez?
Yes. Mention it in your notes, and we allow for it when we agree the measurements, so the kameez is not tight over the extra layer.
Are you based in Canberra?
No. We have no shop, studio or tailor in the ACT or anywhere in Australia. Outfits are made in Pakistan and couriered to you.
