Fabric + Stitching · Belgium
Fabric and stitching in Belgium
Rue de Brabant in Brussels has fabric shops, but not everyone in Belgium lives near it, and choosing fabric, posting it abroad and tracking it there is a lot of effort. With Fabric + Stitching, you describe the outfit and the kind of fabric you have in mind, we source it in Pakistan and show it to you, and only the finished piece travels, straight to your door.

Sizes, delivery and sending fabric from Belgium: ordering from Belgium.
Picking a weight for Belgian weather
Few summer days in Belgium are truly hot, and many winter days are raw and wet, so the first question is usually weight rather than colour. For an office in Brussels or a campus in Leuven, an opaque mid-weight cotton such as cambric is the safe all-year choice. When the Ardennes turn frosty, karandi or khaddar keep you warm, while a fine lawn is worth it for a July festival in Ghent. Mention the season, the setting and any colour you have in mind, and our quote shows the options we can find for your design.
Judging fabric from photos
Free samples are not part of the service. Your written quote carries photos and a description of each fabric we propose, and you are welcome to ask how sheer it is, how it drapes or whether lining it would help on a grey day. Nothing is cut before you agree. We only ever provide cloth as part of an outfit we make, under this service.
Nothing to post from Belgium
Since the cloth is bought and sewn in Pakistan, you skip the trip to bpost entirely. The single parcel is your finished outfit, cleared by Belgian customs (Douane et Accises in French, Douane en Accijnzen in Dutch) under EU rules, and its delivery, TVA or btw, the flat EU duty and any courier charge are already priced in. Read the Belgium page for the rules, or ask for a Fabric + Stitching quote.

FAQ
Fabric + Stitching questions
Also for Belgium
Do you sell cloth by the metre to Belgium?
No. We provide cloth only within an outfit we are making for you. If you already own fabric, Stitching Only is the service for it.
Which fabric suits a Belgian winter?
Khaddar or karandi for warmth, or a lined cambric for milder days, with full sleeves and a little room for a layer underneath.
