Belgium knows lace: bobbin lace has been made in Bruges and Brussels for centuries, and Mechelen gave its name to a fine lace of its own. Our fancy work is simpler in scope. It means embroidery, lace and borders added to an outfit we are stitching for you, at a level you choose, agreed in writing and made in Pakistan with the rest of the outfit.

Three levels for Belgian occasions
Delicate work, at the neckline or sleeves, is right for an office near Schuman or a lecture in Leuven: noticeable up close, quiet across a room. Detailed work at the neckline, sleeves and hem suits Eid morning or a family dawat in Antwerp or Liège. Statement work is bolder, for Eid evenings, parties and formal receptions; we do not make outfits for a bride. If you are unsure which suits your plans, ask us to advise and send a reference photo.
Choosing fabric to carry it
In damp, cool weather, embroidery on linen, karandi or velvet looks rich and stays practical under a coat. Lace looks lightest on lawn or cotton for summer; our page on lace necklines shows one approach. A border along the dupatta dresses up a plain suit without much weight. What is possible on your fabric and design is confirmed in your written quote.
Always part of an outfit
Embellishment is placed, agreed and priced with the rest of the design, on our fabric or yours. We do not embellish ready-made garments. Delivery to Belgium and import charges are in the same quote, as the Belgium page explains, and you can start from one of our designs and change the embroidery level through customisation.

On the quote form, pick delicate (neckline or sleeves), detailed (neckline, sleeves and hem), statement (bolder work for Eid and parties), or ask us to advise.

Show us the look
Add a reference photo of the embroidery, lace or border you like. What is possible on your fabric and design is confirmed in your written quote.

Agreed before cutting
The placement and amount of embellishment are agreed in writing with the rest of the design, and quoted as part of the outfit.

Made with the outfit
The work is done in Pakistan as part of stitching your outfit, which is then shipped to you. We do not embroider garments on their own.

One outfit is enough. No minimum bundle.

Which level suits a formal reception in Brussels?
Detailed or statement work, depending on how dressy the evening is. Tell us the occasion, and the placement is agreed in writing with the rest of the design.
Can you embroider a dress I already own?
No. Embroidery, lace and borders are only added to outfits we are stitching for you.
