Campus and tech-office wardrobes
Days in Otaniemi or a Keilaniemi office tend to be long and casual, so comfort counts more than formality. A matching co-ord, say a band-collar kurta with wide-leg trousers, works for a lab, a seminar or a meeting, and you can ask for full sleeves and a lining for winter. Metro commutes and Nuuksio weekends
The metro links Espoo with central Helsinki, but there is always a cold walk or a wait at either end. Choose mid-weight cambric or khaddar for the kameez and add a lining rather than going straight for the thickest cloth, because carriages and offices are heated. At weekends, many people head out to the lakes and forests of Nuuksio National Park; for that, keep a soft linen kurta for summer and leave the dressier pieces for Eid and dinners.
For Eid al-Fitr, which falls in the cold months for the next few years, a velvet or karandi kameez with a warm shawl looks festive and keeps you warm between the car and the door.

Can I change one of your designs for a Finnish winter?
Yes. You can switch to full sleeves, add a lining, lengthen the kameez or change the trouser style. Each change is agreed in writing and shown in your quote before anything is cut.
Do you deliver to student housing in Espoo?
We ship to the address you give us once the order goes ahead, including student flats. Include your name exactly as it appears at the door, the building and flat number, and a phone number the courier can reach.
