What shows under a winter coat
From late autumn to spring, the neckline and cuffs are often all anyone sees of your kameez until you take your coat off. That makes delicate work, at the neckline or on the sleeves, a sensible choice for everyday and office outfits in Finland: it shows where it counts and stays understated, in keeping with Finnish dressing.
Detailed work, at the neckline, sleeves and hem, suits a dinner or an Eid gathering at home, where the whole outfit is on view. Statement work, bolder and fuller, is for Eid and parties; it looks especially rich on velvet or karandi in winter.
Lace and borders for the light months

Add a reference photo of the embroidery, lace or border you like. What is possible on your fabric and design is confirmed in your written quote.

Agreed before cutting
The placement and amount of embellishment are agreed in writing with the rest of the design, and quoted as part of the outfit.

Made with the outfit
The work is done in Pakistan as part of stitching your outfit, which is then shipped to you. We do not embroider garments on their own.

Fancy work questions
Can you embroider a kurta I already own?
No. Fancy work is only added to outfits we are stitching for you, and it is agreed with the rest of the design before cutting.
Which level suits Eid in a Finnish winter?
Detailed or statement work on a warm fabric such as velvet or karandi looks festive indoors, and a lining keeps the outfit comfortable on the way there. We confirm what works on your fabric in the quote.
