Inland cold calls for real warmth
Away from the coast, Tampere’s winters tend to be colder and snowier than Helsinki’s, with frozen lakes and crisp, still days. This is where heavier fabrics earn their keep: a lined karandi or marina kameez, khaddar trousers, and full sleeves with enough room for a thin thermal underneath. Mention the layer in your notes so we allow for it. Choosing lining for an unstitched suit explains the options if you are sending your own fabric.
Summer by the lakes is mild and light, and an airy lawn suit or a linen co-ord is plenty for a lakeside evening or the saunas Tampere is known for.
Students, researchers and everyday wear
Tampere University draws students and staff from many countries. For lectures and lab days, a knee-length kurta with straight trousers is practical, and a plain three-piece in khaddar makes a warm, simple everyday suit. If you want a little embroidery for Eid or a dinner, see fancy work in Finland.
Posting fabric from Tampere
If you already have an unstitched suit, photograph each piece in daylight and send the pictures with your enquiry. Once we confirm it is suitable and enough, and agree how to send it, you post it to Pakistan with tracking and a truthful customs description. The finished outfit then makes a second, separate journey back to Tampere. Delivery and EU import charges are in your quote, as the Finland page explains, and you can request a quote at any time.

Is there a tailor of yours in Tampere?
No. We have no shop, studio or tailor in Tampere or anywhere else in Finland. Your outfit is made in Pakistan from the measurements you send and shipped to your door.
How long will my outfit take?
Making takes 5 to 7 working days once your quote is approved and paid in full, or once your fabric reaches us for Stitching Only. Shipping to Tampere comes on top and varies, so tell us your date when you enquire.
