Pakistani suits in Spain: made to measure for the heat
Ordering made-to-measure Pakistani suits in Spain: breathable fabrics and cuts for Spanish summers, late evening events, sizes, paying in euros and import charges.
InspirationOrdering Pakistani suits from Spain
If you live in Spain and want Pakistani suits cut to your own measurements, you can order them online: send the design and your measurements, choose a quote in euros, US dollars or pounds sterling, pay once you approve it, and the outfit is stitched in Pakistan and shipped to your address with import charges included. We have no shop or tailor in Spain, so everything is arranged online and confirmed in writing before cutting.
Barcelona has a long-established Pakistani community and some shops to match, but outside a few neighbourhoods the choice drops away quickly, and ready-made sizes are a gamble. The Spain page has the overview and city guides.
Built for a Spanish summer
Spain’s heat comes in two kinds. Seville, Córdoba and Madrid have fierce, dry summers where the afternoon sun is the problem; Barcelona, Valencia and Málaga are humid by the sea, where sweat and creases are. Either way, natural fibres and a relaxed cut do most of the work.
- Lawn is the first choice for humid coastal heat: fine, absorbent and light. See the lawn guide.
- Linen suits dry heat, dries quickly and looks right with Spanish summer style; the linen page covers creasing and care.
- Elbow sleeves shade the arms without trapping heat; the elbow sleeves page shows the shape.
- Looser shapes such as a kaftan-style kameez let air move on the hottest days.
- Light colours and prints reflect the sun and hide the odd crease after a day out.
Late evenings and cooler nights
Spanish social life runs late, and so do many family dinners and weddings. A summer event can start in heat and finish at midnight with a breeze off the sea, so plan a dupatta or shawl that does real work. In Madrid and the interior, winter mornings are properly cold even when afternoons are bright, and the north around Bilbao is green because it rains often. For those, a lined cotton or a warmer weave makes more sense than lawn.
For guest wear, cotton silk or a lined chiffon with delicate or detailed embroidery holds up through a long evening. What is possible on your chosen fabric is confirmed in your written quote.
Spanish sizes and your measurements
Spanish shop sizes follow the continental numbering, close to French sizes, and they vary between labels. For a made-to-measure kameez you give your body measurements in centimetres instead. The size guide shows each point, and if you are working from a kameez that already fits, our guide to using a kameez as a template explains how to measure it.
Choosing a design and a fabric route
Start from your own idea, or from our designs with changes to the neckline, sleeves, length, trousers, lining or embroidery level; the customisation page for Spain lists what can be adjusted. With Fabric + Stitching for Spain, we suggest a fabric suited to your climate and only the finished outfit travels. With Stitching Only, you send your own suitable fabric to us after we confirm it from photos.
Euros, charges and when to order
Most customers in Spain choose euros, though US dollars and pounds sterling are available, and payment is made in full in advance by bank transfer, Wise or a card payment link. Spain is in the EU, and the EU’s temporary customs duty on low-value parcels from outside the EU has applied since 1 July 2026 (Council of the EU). Your written quote already includes delivery and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees, so nothing is due when the parcel arrives.
Production takes 5 to 7 working days from approval and full payment, and shipping is extra and varies, so order summer pieces in spring. Customers in Barcelona, Madrid and Seville order the same way. Request a quote for Spain when you are ready.
Common questions
What fabric is coolest for a Spanish summer?
Lawn suits humid coastal heat because it is fine and absorbent, while linen suits the dry heat of Madrid and Seville because it dries quickly. A relaxed cut with elbow sleeves helps in both.
Can I get my quote in euros from Spain?
Yes. Customers in Spain choose euros, US dollars or pounds sterling, and the written quote is issued in that currency.
Is there anything to pay when my outfit arrives in Spain?
No. The written quote includes delivery and any import duties, taxes and customs or courier fees, and the order is shipped delivered duty paid.
