Cut for the bike
Amsterdam is a cycling city, and your clothes need to cooperate. Side slits high enough to swing a leg over the frame, a kameez length that does not catch on the saddle, and straight or cigarette trousers that stay clear of the chain all make a difference. A wide shalwar looks lovely but can flap, so if you love the shape, tell us you cycle and we can suggest a narrower hem. Add these notes when you request a quote.
Weather that changes by the hour
Amsterdam is mild, damp and windy all year. Mid-weight cambric, linen and cotton blends shrug off a shower, a lined kameez is useful from autumn to spring, and a lawn set covers the warmer weeks. Fabric from the Albert Cuyp
The Albert Cuyp market in De Pijp has stalls selling fabric by the metre, and an unstitched suit from a Pakistani brand works just as well. For Stitching Only, send us photos first and wait until we confirm the fabric, quantity and arrangements, then post it to Pakistan by a tracked service with an accurate customs declaration.
Your finished outfit is shipped to you separately, as a second stage. Your quote includes delivery and any import duties and taxes, so there is nothing extra to pay when it arrives, and the Netherlands page explains the EU rules.

Can you make trousers that work on a bike?
Yes. Tell us you cycle and we suggest straight or cigarette trousers, or a shalwar with a narrower hem, plus side slits at a height that lets you ride comfortably.
Is there anywhere in Amsterdam I can be measured?
No. We have no shop, studio or measuring service in Amsterdam. You measure at home in centimetres or inches using the size guide, and we agree the numbers with you in writing before anything is cut.
Can I give you my Dutch size?
Measurements work much better. EU sizes run on a different scale from UK ones and brands vary, so enter your own measurements on the quote form instead of a size.
