The fabric you want stitched may come from many places in France: a suit length from a shop near La Chapelle in Paris, cotton or silk bought by the metre at the Marché Saint-Pierre, an unstitched three-piece ordered online from Pakistan or brought back in a suitcase. Stitching Only turns it into an outfit cut to your measurements, made in Pakistan and shipped back to you.

Fabric by the metre: tell us the width
French fabric shops sell by the metre, and the width, la laize, is printed on the bolt in centimetres. A 140 cm cotton goes much further than a narrow one, so give us both the length and the width when you send your photos. Fabric widths explained and buying fabric by the metre for a kameez help you work out roughly what you need. For a printed three-piece, we count the pieces and check each one against your design.
Sending it from France
Wait until we have confirmed the fabric, the quantity and how to send it. You then arrange the parcel yourself, at La Poste or with a courier, using a tracked international service. Pakistan is outside the EU, so a customs declaration is needed: describe the contents plainly, for example “tissu non cousu, coton, trois pièces”, and give an honest value. Two journeys and the calendar
Your fabric goes to Pakistan first, and the finished outfit returns to France as a separate shipment. Making takes 5 to 7 working days once your fabric has arrived and your quote is paid in full; both journeys are added to that, so start early for Eid or a family celebration. The return parcel’s delivery, TVA and duty are already in your quote, as the France page explains.

We check the fabric is suitable and enough for your design, and agree how to send it to Pakistan, before anything goes in the post.

You send it, we make it
Once your fabric reaches us and your quote is paid in full, we cut and stitch it in 5 to 7 working days.

Your outfit comes back
The finished outfit is shipped to you as a second, separate delivery, with delivery and any import charges already in your quote.

Can I send fabric bought in a French shop rather than a Pakistani suit?
Yes, subject to fabric suitability and sufficient quantity. Cotton, linen, lawn or silk bought by the metre can work well. Send photos with the length and width before posting anything.
Is there an address in Paris where I can leave my fabric?
No. We have no shop, address or collection point in France. You post the fabric to Pakistan yourself, by a tracked service, once we have confirmed it.
