Norway’s sunniest coast, and its wet winters
Summer here is warmer and brighter than in much of Norway, which makes lawn and light cotton genuinely useful: a printed lawn three-piece for an evening walk through Posebyen, or a cotton co-ord for the beach. Winter is the opposite, mild but rainy and dark, so a lined linen or khaddar kameez under a raincoat covers most days. Summer outfits for hot weather has ideas for the good months.
University of Agder and everyday wear
The University of Agder brings students and staff from many countries. For lectures and office work, a two-piece of a short straight kurta with cigarette trousers is easy to wear and simple to care for; ask for full sleeves for winter. For Eid, which falls in late winter for the next few years, a lined three-piece with a warm shawl is the practical choice.
Ordering from the south coast
Measurements go on the quote form in centimetres or inches. If you want your own fabric stitched, photos come first, then our confirmation of the fabric and the arrangements, and only then do you courier it to Pakistan. Your outfit returns in a separate shipment.
Norway is not in the EU, so EU rules do not apply to your parcel; the Norway page covers the Norwegian ones, and your quote includes every charge along with delivery. Request a quote when you are ready.

We supply the agreed fabric and make your outfit to your measurements. One parcel: the finished outfit shipped to you.

Can I order a summer outfit and a winter outfit together?
Yes. Add both to the same request and we quote them together, with the right fabric for each. Each piece is made to the measurements you agree with us in writing.
Are there free fabric samples?
No. We do not send free samples. With Fabric + Stitching we share photos and descriptions of the fabric with your quote, and nothing is cut until you agree it.
Is there a shop in Kristiansand?
No. We have no shop, studio or tailor in Kristiansand or anywhere else in Norway. Outfits are made in Pakistan and delivered to you.
