Changes that make sense in Canada
For winter, the most useful changes are full sleeves, a lining and a warmer fabric, and straight or cigarette trousers that sit over a thermal layer and inside boots. Adding a waistcoat gives an extra layer that looks deliberate. For summer, three-quarter or elbow sleeves and a lighter kameez length help in humid heat.
The changes we can make are the pieces (add a dupatta or waistcoat), the neckline, sleeves, kameez length, trouser style, lining and embroidery level, and whether you choose Fabric + Stitching or send your own fabric.
