Up the mountain, into the fog
Students at SFU know the hilltop campus can be colder and wetter than the city below. A kurta in cambric with full sleeves and a light lining copes well, and a mid-thigh length works with jeans and boots. BCIT students in labs and workshops may prefer a shorter kurta and no dupatta at all.

For the wetter months, choose a fabric that does not mind a shower, and ask for straight trousers so the hems stay out of puddles. Shopping at Metrotown on a rainy Saturday is easier in a kurta that layers under a waterproof jacket, so a slimmer sleeve helps, and darker colours hide splashes from the bus stop.

Burnaby questions
Can I order just a dress, not a suit?
Yes. We make Western pieces too, such as dresses, skirts, tops and trousers, and one piece is a normal order.
When is my outfit made?
Once your quote is approved and paid in full, production takes 5 to 7 working days, or from when your fabric reaches us with Stitching Only. Courier time comes after.
