Fabric for dry air and changeable days
Dry, heated air makes synthetics cling and crackle with static, so natural fibres are kinder here. Cambric and lawn suit the warm days, while khaddar and karandi handle the cold snaps. Because a chinook can turn a frozen morning into a soft afternoon, a lighter kameez with a lining, worn under a good coat, is often more useful than one very heavy suit.
