Modest and polished for the office
For meetings and long days at a desk, a knee-length kurta with full sleeves and straight trousers is smart, comfortable and modest. Leave out the dupatta for work, or choose matching kurta and trousers for a co-ord look. Ask for a band collar or a higher round neckline if you prefer, and a lining in lighter fabrics.

Winterlude weather
From December to March, the cold here is serious. Khaddar, karandi and marina are warmer than lawn, and a lined kameez sits better under a heavy coat. If Eid falls in winter, as Eid al-Fitr will for the next few years, a long kameez in velvet or karandi is dressy without being heavy to wear indoors.
In summer, Ottawa can be surprisingly hot and humid, so keep a lawn suit or two for Canada Day picnics.

Yes. Tell us the neckline, sleeve length and kameez length you want, and whether you need a lining. Everything is agreed in writing before cutting, so the outfit matches what you have asked for.
